Calcium Carbonate

On the way to diving today Stockton was telling me about his chemistry quiz.  He was pretty excited that a question was to find the molar mass of calcium carbonate.  He thinks calcium carbonate is hilarious and it has now become a running gag between his friends.  Stockton said, "You would be surprised how many times calcium carbonate comes up in conversation."  Ha!

A few years ago Stockton was trying to think up names for his robots on Robot Arena.  He picked them off of the back of a cereal box and one of them was calcium carbonate.  At the beginning of chemistry they were taking a quiz and calcium carbonate was mentioned.  Stockton couldn't stop laughing.  Now, his table thinks it's hilarious whenever calcium carbonate comes up.  Stockton actually figured out the molar mass of calcium carbonate a few days ago.  It is 100.  He thought that was amazing and had been telling several people.  His friends all laughed when they saw that question.  They all new the answer thanks to Stockton.
