Beautiful Parrydise

This morning Mike and I woke up to pictures from Bubs at the cabin. The pictures were beautiful, but not what Mike wanted to see.  He is planning on going to the cabin with Maysen today.  They are leaving after school.  He planned on working on the outside of the cabin getting it ready for winter.  We also have the van filled with cabinets from our kitchen.  Mike is also planning on pulling a trailer behind us.  It will be super hard to unload if he can not make it up the road.

Mike thought he left the key to the garage at the cabin.  He didn't. Luckily he left one at Steve and Sharon's cabin.  Bubs was able to get ahold of them.  It was a bit of a pain, but they were able to get the snowmobiles working for a bit.  They were also able to borrow a 4-wheeler.  Ange didn't plan on the snow, so they hadn't packed snowsuits.  Ella was on it though.  She found cabin snowsuits for everyone and they seemed to have a great time.  Yay!  Glad they had a fun cabin day.  We just really wanted the snow to melt before Mike and Maysen made it there.

Mike and Maysen did make it up to the cabin, but only half way up the hill.  They ended up leaving the van in the middle of the hill.  I had to laugh about that.  Mike has been blamed for years for driving a car up to the cabin in the winter and ruining the sled hill.  He never did that! Now he can't say that anymore.  At least the kids got a day of sledding in and the snow had stopped being good sledding snow.  Mike's hoping he can get the van up in the morning when the ice melts a bit.

Looks like it's pretty easy for people to make it up to the cabin frequently... unless we want to go.

Sorry John! Thanksgiving is the one time Mike needs to be at work. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are a pretty big deal. I wish we could have made it happen. I would have loved to see you and your family!

I know, I was just kidding. I was hoping to cause some drama.
