Michael's Farewell

We had a special stake conference today.  Elder Neil L. Anderson spoke.  Not Neil A. Anderson like we heard him referred to twice today. Once by the stake president when he was introducing him.  He spoke about the last days of L. Tom Perry and Boyd K. Packers life.  It was interesting to listen to those stories you don't usually hear.  Nothing crazy, just simple stories.  Like after conference last spring Elder Packer told the other apostles that that would be his last conference.

We came home from conference and grabbed a quick snack before we headed over to Michael's ward to listen to him speak.  He did a great job.  Lisa and Nathan will have both of their boys out on missions pretty soon.  It's going to be weird having Michael gone.  Especially weird because he is only two months older than Maysen.  How could Maysen be that old?

We hung out at Lisa and Nathan's house for awhile and ate lots and lots of yummy food.  They always do such a great job hosting things. Nathan says he's not looking forward to being an empty nester. Neither am I.  At least I have more than a decade before I reach that mark.
