We spent today working around the house. It is nice to have an extra day with Mike home. Jorja and Preston made butterfinger cookies. The only problem was Jorja makes cookies from memory. This time she accidentally put too much butter and shortening in them. It didn't affect the taste, but I could just feel the cookies sticking to my ribs.
Mike was able to con Matt into helping him take our big, giant pool heater out to the street. That thing is so heavy. Tomorrow is the neighborhood cleanup day. Mike and Matt were able to get it there with a help of a wheelbarrow. That is a great thing to have checked off of our list!
