Brady's Homecoming

Mike's cousin Holly just had a boy return from a mission.  His name is Brady and he was serving in New York, Spanish speaking.  We went and listened to his homecoming today.  He did a great job.  He served a lot in a Chinese area, and as a result learned a lot of Mandarin.  He finished his talk by bearing his testimony in Chinese.  When he finished I looked at Jorja and asked if she understood him.  She smiled and nodded.  It is not often that Jorja runs into Chinese when she isn't expecting it.  It was cool that she could understand it.  Preston understood a little, but Jorja understood everything.  I paid Jorja a dollar to say, "You speak Chinese very well" to Brady.  Of course she had to say it in Chinese to get the dollar.  He had a surprised look on his face when she did that.  He was happy Jorja was able to understand him.

Before we left we spent some time chatting with Mona.  It is nice to see her and listen to her stories.  She always is full of fun.  I'm glad we were able to make it here today.
