Mike and I looked up the official rules to Canadian Salad. We had played this at Lake Powell and it was really fun. Tonight we played it with our kids. Stockton hates playing card games. Unless he makes up the rules. This game was torture for him. He claimed it was a luck game. He kept losing because he refused to admit there was strategy involved. We will have to play this game over and over until he learns to love it. Well, not always this game, but he needs to learn how to play cards! I can't believe my kids don't know how to play 'rummy' when I was practically raised on that game!
