Johnny

Stockton invited his first friend over for an afternoon of swimming.  His name is Johnny and he lives down the street.  Stockton loves playing with him.  I love watching Stockton with Johnny.  He is so sweet and has such fun.  I went and picked up Lincoln and Ella so they could go swimming too.  This will most likely be the last day the pool is open.  It is supposed to start getting cold.  We wanted to enjoy it before it was too late!  Stockton and Johnny were already swimming by the time I got back.  Mike opened the pool up for them.

Johnny kept telling Stockton what kind of dives to do.  Sometimes Stockton had no idea how he was supposed to do the dive.

I think Johnny wanted him to be a rock star.

Johnny wanted Stockton to do a pencil dive back flip.  Stockton had never done that before, and it is pretty hard to do.  He attempted it, but his legs were a little bent.  When he came up, Johnny was booing him. It sounds mean, but it was so funny.  We were laughing pretty hard.

Johnny liked to pretend he was an olympic coach.  He kept having Stockton swim across the pool.  Stockton is not a big fan of swimming. Stockton kept asking if he was done, but Johnny wouldn't let him. Finally Johnny said he was ready for the race.  Johnny would say in a loud announcer voice, "What's your first name?"  "What's your last name?" "Go!"  Johnny cheered and told Stockton, "Way to go, buddy." after letting him know he got a medal.  Quite awesome.

I had my Young Women over tonight to show them how to make applesauce and apple cider.  Luckily Mike helped a ton.  He prepared everything while I watched the kids out back.  He also taught the girls when they were here.  I am so lucky to have a husband like Mike.  Today could have been a huge disaster, but because of him it ended up being super fun.
Maysen's Young Women's activity consisted of tyedying.  I'm not too disappointed to miss that one!
Stockton got to play glow-in-the-dark dodgeball.  He was pretty excited about that.  Bubs and Abbs came and picked up Lincoln and Ella.  Bubs had parent-teacher conference today.  Ange is pretty miserable.  She could have her baby any day now.  She would have already had Lincoln, but Abby was late, so who knows.  I can't wait to see their newest little baby - and to learn what they decide to name her!
