We opened our pool today! After a long day of working in the yard, we wanted to take a swim in the pool. We were hoping that it wouldn't be ice cold, we only started the heater a few days ago. Mike's brother and his family came over and we decided to give it a shot. It was warm! Let the swimming season begin! (I signed Stockton up for the neighborhood dive team, but Jorja didn't want to do swimming. She wants to have Eden teacher her this summer and then she will do it next summer. She is a little nervous about having to swim a longer distance. Hopefully we can work out something with Eden's schedule.)

Mike cleared out some area by the fence for a garden. Pulled trees out and everything. We had the kids each pick a section to be in charge of. Preston has strawberries. Jorja has peas, carrots and pumpkins. Stockton has potatoes (aka french fries) and carrots. Maysen has corn and pumpkin. We'll see how this works out. Notice the volleyball net right next to the garden. Hope that doesn't cause a problem!
