Missing Georgia

When Mike was finishing our basement in our Georgia house, he put a little "dog house" under the stairs. You had to crawl through one closet to get to it. It was really small, but the kids had a great time with it. Today Preston was talking about how much he missed our house in Georgia . . . especially the dog house/hidden room. He said, "Maybe Dad can make a hidden room here." I asked him how he would do that. Preston said, "With a drill . . . and nails to hold up the wall." If only it were that easy.

Preston also talked about how he wished there was a door at our house we could walk through to get to our computer room in Georgia, and then another door to get back. Again, if only it were that easy. He also told me that Stockton wishes we could have our house in Georgia with our backyard here, but he liked our front and back yard in Georgia. It's hard for a little boy to move. It's hard for a girl in her 30s to move. Too bad we couldn't take our house with us, but we are loving our life here!
